Professional Background

Tom's career spanned 35 years in the electronics industry, encompassing various roles, from manufacturing products to establishing his own venture, Remtek Corporation. Under his leadership, Remtek became the second-largest supplier of heat-shrinkable products before being acquired by Raychem. Tom ventured into third-party warehousing by investing in FGS Warehouse, a company providing warehousing and delivery solutions to Fortune 500 companies in Northern California.

When FGS underwent a change in ownership, Tom took the opportunity to start a division for one of his clients, HA Transportation. His expertise in supply chain management drew the attention of the division president at Hub Group, resulting in his recruitment to spearhead a logistics division. In just four years, Tom and his team took the company from inception to an impressive $65 million in revenue.

In 2007, he embarked on a new mission by founding Supply Chain Coach Inc., dedicated to instructing corporations in innovative cloud technology-driven supply chain management. Later, he transitioned the business to Rockfarm, and today, Tom operates as an independent consultant, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with companies seeking supply chain improvements.
